Fruit and Fixes

Here's the kitchen counter after a recent trip to the garden. Love it! first tomato!

We were lent a really nice baby chair made of thin plywood and cloth. The thing can be taken apart, and the little foot of the arch -the back of the chair - was cracking when we got it, and even though we never took it apart, the thing sort of fell to pieces:

So I cut out the broken middle part of the plywood and inserted a thin piece of oak, then glued it and some other end pieces onto it and smoothed it up using my knife and some sandpaper

It actually came out pretty good.

and the plums are almost ripe!
